In fact, after we used some OBD-II Scan tool to read codes from the vehicles. It has obtained many fault codes from ECM memory of vehicle. However, it is not fault information or enough for repairing. Like that, it does not satisfy to technician and customers. I have researched and found that, all of OBD-II Scan tool is very good for fault code obtaining because it has based on an standard OBD-II data frame.

Scan tool get any fault code, which stored in ECM memory but only that then it not any information for end-user.

The DTD-Code expander will help you in this problem. Now, all database in your OBD-II Scan tool products is not over 3,700 code information. It only included generic codes.
